(l)PP Harry Kennedy with guest speaker for June 20, Bryan Humphrey. From November 2013, Bryan spent 2 years in Cambodia working as an Australian volunteer. He worked there with the Child Protection and Development organization building schools.

May 23rd. Karl Toohey (Owen Williams Ballarat) with PP Rae Macleod. Karl gave an interesting talk about his experiences with the wool industry.

(l)Guest speaker for May 9 was Andrew Powell. Andrew, pictured here with PP Harry Kennedy, spoke about the legal growing of poppies for medical usage in Tasmania and Victoria.
(l) Andrew Fernyhough with Rtn Frank Whitfield. Andrew is an Honorary Consul to Kazakhstan. He addressed our meeting on May 2, enthralling members with his love for his adopted country of Kazakhstan.
PP Ross Furness (l) with Liz & Frank Golding. Frank spoke to our club members on April 18 about the role played by young men from the Ballarat Orphanage who joined the army in WW1
PP John Tudball (l) thanks Dr Tom Roberts for coming to our club on April 11. Tom spoke about the real life Great Escape character Roger Bushell. Tom's knowledge of WW2 British POW's was evident as he spoke with enthusiasm and enthralled our members.
